Yes, my new computer finally came. Well, the REPLACEMENT for the one that didn't work finally came. This is actually a pic of me with the one that didn't work... (with me sporting my lovely after-show hairdo) Anyway, so I bought my iPod yesterday and have spend the last three days of my life loading music onto my computer for it. Hee hee. Unfortunately, tons of my CD's are busted up from an accident I had four years ago when I left them on top of a car as I left West Yellowstone for the weekend. NOT a good feeling when you look behind your car on the highway and see your CD's scattered across the road!!!! We saved a bunch of them, but they're all pretty sad looking. :-) BUT, most of them are still working to put on my computer. Amy is happy.
I leave two weeks from tomorrow. Well, I THINK. They haven't got me my flight plans yet.... that would be nice. Anyway, all is well.

Cody and I "practicing" our dances before the show... we didn't do it once and we jinxed ourselves I think. That night we went flying into the laps of the audience... HA HA HA!
Thank you to Charisse who let me use her SPIRIT GUM almost every performance of the run.
Amy and the high school boys, Craig and Dan. Love 'em.
Group picture on the day of the last show... kind of blurry- CODY! Send me YOUR copy!
The two Polly's. My "double" Cecily Ellis
Every show my dresser Staci and I would play in the "smoke" of "Nice Work if You Can Get It"
Another picture I really love, but Cody- I need a copy of the one you got!!!

Life...
Hey all!
So, no pics this time. Nothing really new. Well, except the fact that I leave Utah for SEVEN MONTHS in just four weeks! CRAZY CRAZY! On Aug 19th, I board an airplane bound for who-knows-what adventures in Hong Kong. I'm excited for the whole thing, but I don't think he reality of it all has set in. It might not until I actually am on the plane flying over the Great Salt Lake. Yikes! :-) Oh well... it's adventure... I need some in my life, eh????
I got a new laptop!!!! It's really great and I love to look at it. I look at it because that's all I can do with it. It came UPS on Friday night, and I pulled the lovely new method of communication out of its box, plugged it in, followed the "press the power button" direction, and NOTHING happened. Well, it turned on, but the screen didn't work. WHAT?!??!?!?! AHHHH! So the next day my dear cousin Justin spent hours on the phone trying to fix the problem, and the final result is that they will send me another new one and I will send them back the bad one. AHHH! So I have to wait for another week or so to play with it. Oh well.
Ummmm, my birthday - my 25th birthday- is on Tuesday. I am taking donations for an iPod- it's all I want for my birthday. I am not kidding. If you love me, send me a donation to buy an iPod. :-) I am poor and can't buy one for myself... :-) It's my "golden birthday" (25 on the 25th) too, so do I not deserve donations from those I love?? :-)
Happy birthday to me.
OK- well, that's life for me right now. I plan on spending the next few weeks putting music on my new computer- when it comes- and then putting it onto my iPod... when I get it. :-) I am also gonna scrapbook and organize all my stuff at home so it'll not be cluttered when I leave it. :-) Yep yep, time left here in Utah in 2006 is running out. Life is cool. :-)

MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY!
As many of you know- I ADORE the 4th of July. In fact, you could easily call it my favorite holiday! YAY! Anyway, this year the celebration started early- on July 1, when my friend Cy and I decided to go to Stadium of Fire in Provo. I have always wanted to go to it, so I was BEYOND excited! WAHOO! It was great- with Taylor Hicks and LeeAnn Womack. Just lots of fun. Fattening food, fireworks, and lots os screaming people. I love it!
Onthe 4th, tradition remained as my mom's family all got together at Grandma's house and pigged out and then went to the Layton Park for the orchestra concert and fireworks! I LOVE THE 4TH OF JULY!!! Yay yay!

Thoroughly Modern Amy!
Hey everybody! So I love Sundays. I love them because I have time to just sit and figure out what to write on my blog. Ha ha. It's been awhile since I wrote something of importance... oh wait- the other day I wrote about the fact that I am going to Hong Kong... and THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS!!! I haven't heard from many of you in awhile!!! :-)
So anyway- y'all may be wondering about the pic I've posted today. The Hale in West Valley- where I am doing Crazy For You- was taking their promo pictures for next season and asked me to be the model for "Thoroughly Modern Millie." So here I am, beads and all. :-) It was actually quite fun to do that photo shoot, and for the next year I will have my face plastered all over the Wasatch Front advertising for the show! Too bad I can't actually DO the show. I come back only 17 days before it opens. Sad. Oh well. Hong Kong... lots of money- the Hale- fun show, fun place... doesn't pay the bills. :-)
I will be getting my contract for Disney this week I think. It hasn't actually set in that I am going to HONG KONG for seven MONTHS. I was there for a WEEK last summer and it felt like forever. I am not a fan of the humidity there. HOWEVER, I looked online and apparently it will only be really humid through September! I can handle that! I think I am going there at the GOOD time of the year! :-)
I had to tell my job that I was quitting- only two weeks after they hired me. Whoops. I was hired at the chiropractor's office to fill the receptionist job when the girl they have now has a baby. They got me almost completely trained and then... uh, sorry guys. I felt bad, but let's be honest- it would take me two years to make there what I am going to make in SEVEN MONTHS in HK.
I'm not kidding. You people need to come see me. The website of my apartments is: http://www.goldcoast.com.hk/ Look at it. Come stay with me. I need friends. :-)
Anyway, so that's all for today. I really need to get some pics taken of my show! I'll do that tomorrow! :-) Love to y'all!!

BIG NEWS and a GOOD UPDATE!!!
Hi all! OK- so nothing that interesting has been going on in my life lately- which explains the lack of updates. I came home from NYC, found a job at a chiropractor's office (a pretty good job- not phenomenal, but I can't complain...) and then, out of absolutely NO WHERE, I received a phone call from the Hong Kong Disneyland casting director. Tuesday night I was helping my dad clean out our storage shed, when my phone rings from an "unavailable number." For those of you who know me well, Amy doesn't answer unavailable numbers... so I let it ring through and a few minutes later I had a message. It was this guy, Russ, from Disneyland Hong Kong, like I said, offering me a position as a vocalist in one of their shows. Sounds pretty hokey... Disneyland performing?? WELL, let me tell you that the contract I have makes me a HAPPY girl. I can pay off my student loan, buy a car, and still have some in savings. Life is good. Scary- I mean, HONG KONG??? But really, it's going to be amazing. They provide food, trasportation, my OWN apartment... (NOTE: This is the part where all of you need to start thinking, "I should save money and go see Amy in Hong Kong... when else am I ever gonna have the chance to go there and have someone to STAY with!!!??) So start saving. I will be there from Aug 19-March 31 of next year. YAHOO! The show I'm in is called "The Golden Mickeys"- it's a 25 minute Disney musical review where I will play "Belle". I dunno what else I'll be doing... singing, dancing, getting PAID well!!! YAY! Anyway, so that's the update. START SAVING AND COME SEE ME IN HONG KONG!!!
