First Mother's Day

Flowers showed up on my doorstep Saturday morning while Chuck was still in Orlando.  I'm a sucker for flowers. I LOVE them. The next morning there was a note and little goodies for my happy day.

Blessing Day

On May 6 we blessed Davis. He was a cute little bugger in his little white outfit - but I don't think he was too thrilled being stuffed into it as the minute I hit Relief Society he decided to have a gigantic blowout all over it.  My first day back in Relief Society (I've been released from Primary), and I spend it in the bathroom dealing with a blowout.  Ah, motherhood.

We spent the early hours of the morning hosting a little breakfast for family and friends, and afterwards everyone headed to the chapel for the 9 AM blessing. Davis' blessing was beautiful and focused on him pondering the Plan of Salvation and keeping a focus on preparing for the temple in his younger years. 

That afternoon we headed to Orlando . . . and that's a story for another day!
