Let's Chat...

OK all of my Office watching Blogger friends. :-) Let's discuss this season opener.

#1: YAY FOR PAM AND JIM GETTING ENGAGED! I would have liked something a little bit bigger and exciting, BUT the fact that it was so random and sprung on us in the parking lot of a gas station was so fun! I knew it would be coming, but it was abrupt. Good stuff. And I love kissing in the rain. Yep.

#2: Y'all are gonna have to go back and watch on NBC.com for this one... BUT I'm wondering if any of you noticed that the second time everyone gets on the scale Meredith's face is all red and puffy with sores all over it or something. WHAT IS THAT ABOUT?!?!?!?

#3: Ryan is the temp again. HA! And Kelly- ah- Kelly kills me. I'm so curious what Ryan's agenda is with being nice to her again...

#4: I want to see Michael at the OB-GYN with Jan. HA!

#5: Kevin cracks me up. I love him. "You think I'm retarded???"

#6: Could Michael be more of an idiot??? We all know that he is... but I wanted to shoot him when he tore up those tickets that Holly had!!! I want them together. Bah.

#7: I'm a bit disturbed by Dwight and Angela's text messaging sparked romps in the warehouse. I don't want Andy and Angela together... but now I am feeling sorry for crazy Andy. All he wants is that magical wedding. :-)

#8: We had a GREAT Office night party here at my house. THANKS to Chuck, Lindsey, Tyler, Rita, Mark, Adam, Andrea, Hannah, and Keith!!! The food was great, we laughed a lot, and we LOVED seeing The Office back on NBC!!!! YAY!!!

Funny side note: About 5 minutes before the show started Chuck accidentally pushed a random button on one of our three remotes that knocked the signal off the TV. PANIC. Sheer panic. Thanks to Adam for saving us from that would-be tragedy. ;-)

And now- POLITICS.

I don't discuss politics on my blog. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I am fascinated with this whole election and have waited for these debates to start for weeks. A lot of the stuff still goes over my head. I still have so much to learn about the way our country works- economics, foreign policies, etc etc etc... BUT I am just really excited to be living in a "swing state" during this election. It's most likely the most important election we've ever had.

Sunday Sunshine

#1 : The Bananas were in my bed. Why? We don't know. But we took a picture. I love bananas.

#2: This week the B and B stage said goodbye to a 14 year tradition. Last night was Four For a Dollar's last show there at the Studios. Sniffle. I seriously don't know what we as a cast are going to do without their music to warm up to before every show. Doug, Marshall, Sammy, and Andrew- We'll miss you!!!! But this is sunshine because they had fourteen great years at the stage, and they're LOVED! ANYWAY...

The last show begins...

The last show ends...

#3: I come to Utah in one week and two days. Did you hear that people? I CAN NOT WAIT. Have I mentioned that before?

#4: Conference weekend is two weeks away. I LOVE conference weekend!

#5: This week I lead an amazingly successful enrichment activity at my house. We had 22 girls there (a record!) and they got to know one another on a one-on-one level and it was fantastic!!! We have GREAT girls in the ward this "semester." (The ward changes over every semester because of the college program here at Disney...)

#6: I come to Utah in one week and two days. Did you hear that people? I CAN NOT WAIT. Have I mentioned that before?

#7: THE OFFICE STARTS THIS WEEK. THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIISSSSSSS WEEEK, my friends!!!! Bring on Jim, Pam, Michael, and Jan and Dwight and EVERYONE!!! Oh! I LOVE THE OFFICE!

#8: My retainer makes me happy. It keeps my teeth straight. I love it.

#9: Facebook keeps me in contact with so many old friends. It's seriously so great.

#10: I swam in my pool twice in less than 24 hours this week. It was AMAZING. The water is so warm and gah- I LOVE Florida! (That part of it anyway...)

#11: I come to Utah in one week and two days. Did you hear that people? I CAN NOT WAIT. Have I mentioned that before?

#12: I love cereal. I hardly ever eat it anymore, but Friday I ran out of oatmeal, what I ALWAYS eat for breakfast, and I treated myself to cereal. I think cereal is my favorite food. And pizza. And ice cream. Yes.

#13: I still am really happy about that book I made Chuck. He loves it and I love it and it makes us happy.

#14: I thought that Stride Sweet Cinnamon gum had been discontinued. I haven't found it anywhere for weeks. HOWEVER, last night in Wal-Mart the blessed stuff was right there at the check out. I stocked up.

#15: Chuck is a good boy. He is. He's always working so hard to serve other people and it's amazing. I love it.

#16: I come to Utah in one week and two days. Did you hear that people? I CAN NOT WAIT. Have I mentioned that before?

#17: My car insurance is due Oct.9. I'm sure there's something good about that... ;-)

#18: I do five less shows this week than normal because of that FAME thing. Awesome.

#19- The Final Sunshine of the Evening: I had a good week. It was busy and I didn't sleep as much as I should have, but I had a GREAT week. I was VERY blessed by Heavenly Father to get through the work week. I really feel as if He's sustaining me through all the monotony and everything else that seemed so hard and unbearable just two weeks ago. I honestly FEEL the same way that I did a few weeks ago, but the emotion behind it all has been controlled and I've been able to really focus on the positive aspects of my profession here at the mouse place. For that I am REALLY REALLY thankful. :-)

Yep... so that's it for tonight. My life is good.

One Week and Just a Little Bit...

I'm so close to getting a good trip home! Yippee! I really can't wait. Gah. Anyway, good news for the week:

I get to do a special event next week that will pull me out of five shows. I won't complain at all!!! I get to sing the song "FAME" for an "American Idol: The Experience" preview thingee. Yippee. Something different.

The bad news of the week: My SI joint is still all messed up. I'm not gonna lie, this makes me seriously cranky because I can't work out. I was doing so well. Sigh. Anyway, for those (Yissa) wondering what in the world an SI joint is I present you this informative model:

And let me tell you... IT DOES NOT FEEL GOOD WHEN IT'S BROKEN. The problem is that last Friday I had the trainer at my stage work on it. It felt better Saturday, perfect Sunday, and by Monday I was thinking, "I AM HEALED!!!"

WRONG.

Don't work out if you've only felt better for A day. Bah. So I messed it all up again. Lame. I've never been this broken before... and I don't like it. At least I can still work. :-) Anyway, the trainers have worked on it all week and I am telling you- I'm rethinking the whole childbirth thing- the pain of getting this thing worked out is about as much pain as I can take.

Changing subjects: I NEED TO GO TO THE BYU HOMECOMING GAME ON OCTOBER 11. Who is going to give me a ticket? I'm serious here people... I NEED to go. SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE ME!!!! Can't be a date either... dang, I can't play that card anymore.... hmmmmm. ;-) I NEED NEED NEED to go. I need to dress up in BYU garb and face the crowds of the stadium and watch football while I stare at the beautimus mountains and sniff the crisp- NON HUMID-autumn in Utah air. Yes, I am begging.

Speaking of CRISP AUTUMN AIR:

Fall is in the air! In just a few days it's officially Autumn. Not like it matters here in LAND OF ONE SEASON- Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I can dream of the leaves changing and eating chili with cornbread and apple cider.... Sigh.

OK- yeah- and that concludes my Saturday Evening Post. (Oh I love it when my witty button is working!!!)

Sassy Belle Lives.

Late Sunday Sunshine

Sorry for being late, Kallie. Ha ha. Yesterday was a busy day. It was just a really busy weekend in general. Good thing I don't have to work till this afternoon... maybe I can actually get some of my weekend chores done.

Anyway, so here are the happies of my week:

1. I get to come to Utah two weeks from tomorrow. I CAN NOT wait. I can't. I have to get through 13 more days of work and then I will be able to get away for two full weeks. GAH. So excited.

2. Last night I got to take a girl from work to our little night sacrament meeting that the ward does. It was fantastic, she had great questions, and she wants to come again. LOVED it.

3. PF Changs has amazing food. I ate lots of it.

4. Today I get to start working out again! I don't think I mentioned it on here, but I had to lay off the working out because my SI joint was out of whack. Awesome. That did not feel good! BUT I had it worked on last week, and I'll have the trainer at work look at it again today- and it does feel much better, so we'll see!

5. Lindsey comes back into shows today!!!! The girl has been out since March (basically) and is finally "fixed" enough to come back!!! YAY!

6. I love visiting teaching! Yup. Good experiences in that dept. this weekend.

7. I got really motivated with my auditioning stuff this week. I NEED to get out and audition for things! I actually was going to try and take a trip to NYC this coming weekend for an audition I wanted to do, but $$$ and time are a little short right now- so I decided to just stay here. Less stress in the long run... sigh.

8. I have time to clean my room this morning! AND I get to do laundry!

9. Last week was such an easy week at work. I feel really blessed because y'all know how I've been feeling about that aspect of my life in the last few weeks. Anyway, I only had to do 13 shows the whole week- I usually do 17 or 18. It was lovely. And it went fast.

10. I loved giving Chuck that little scrapbook I made!!! Hee! So so fun. He loved it and talks about it to everyone. :-)

11. I made a new blog background! I love that something so simple makes me happy. :-)

Yep- so there ya go. I'm gonna go get my week rolling....

A Good Week. Yep.

What do I love more than kitties? BIG kitties! Last Saturday Chuck and I spent part of the day in Disney's Animal Kingdom. LOOK AT THIS KITTY IN HIS BATHTUB!!!

Pretty kitty.

Bats!

What the??? Is this really at a Disney park?

My friend the goat. He was an odd duck.
The animal keeper told us that he's the "stoner" of the group.

And now, my friends, I give you official pictures of
"ONE YEAR OF CHUCK AND AMY"

Last night Chuck and I celebrated one year of officially dating. Weird. How has that been a YEAR? Anyway, we spent dinner at PF Changs.... GLORIOUS... and I gave him something I have been working on for a month now. He loved it. That made me happy.

Here it is!

It's a scrapbook of all the randomness of our lives this past year. It contains all our inside jokes, our history... yada yada yada. Fun. Dang, I'm so good. Ha ha.

And now, bring on the food!!!!

The Great Wall of Chocolate. Heaven sent.

The flowers he gave me.
Pretty.

And TODAY- Chuck and I got to spend the day at Sea World!!! Yippee!!! A guy in our ward gave us tickets, and get this- we upgraded and get to go to the park until the end of the year for TEN DOLLARS! So for ten bucks we went to Sea World today AND we can go as many times as we want between now and December 31. Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE Sea World?

This was 2007...

This is 2008...

Maybe he should be having his first anniversary with this whale...

My Shamu pretzel!!!

Why I LOVE Florida. Look at those trees. And that sky. Paradise.
(Especially since you can't feel the humidity when just looking at a picture!)

She's Getting So Big!

I haven't gushed over my niece in a month or more. The kid is getting so big! She started walking last month- (AT NINE MONTHS!) and her mommy tells me that her nickname is now "Dennis." Yes, my niece is called Dennis- as in The Menace. Apparently Kensie likes to find any kind of trouble she can. I get to see her in less than three weeks!!!! I can't wait!!!

Reliving the Memories

It's great what a weekend and some fasting and prayers can do. While I still feel the same way about my professional life (I don't think anything but change is really gonna help that), I feel good today. I got out of bed, did my two shows, and now I'm home. Not too painful, eh? :-)

Anyway, today, in between shows, I decided to pull out my little iPod and relieve the memories of my YA days. I got seriously sentimental and overwhelmed with gratitude for that year of my schooling at BYU. Some of my fondest memories and best friends come from this tight knit little group of 2004-05.
